Sportsmen & 'Lumberjills' Galore At The Northwest Sportshow

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) --It's the time of year when everyone is thinking about getting outdoors.

And to help you get ready for the summer fun, this weekend is the 83rd Northwest Sportshow.

It features deals on boats, RVs, ATVs, fishing and hunting gear – and don't forget about the Lumberjills shows as well.

One of the new, popular showcases at the event this year: bow fishing.

"It's growing and it's explosive," said Curt Sich of Edge Bow Fishing. "We see people all over really wanting to get into this sport."

The Progressive Insurance Northwest Sportshow is going on Saturday and Sunday at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
