Tornado Confirmed In Southern Minnesota, No Damage

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The National Weather Service confirms a tornado has touched down in southern Minnesota.

Meteorologist Shawn Devinny says multiple trained spotters confirmed the tornado in Faribault County on Sunday night.

Devinny says a few trees were blown down but there were no immediate reports of injuries or structural damage.

Meteorologists don't expect any further tornado threat tonight.
