South St. Paul Man Pleads Guilty To Threatening Officers Over Ticket
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 21-year-old South St. Paul man accused of threatening to kill officers through social media posts after getting a speeding ticket during a traffic stop in February of 2014 pleaded guilty to charges on Monday in Dakota County Court.
Harrison William Rund pleaded guilty to one felony count of terroristic threats in connection with the incident. He was charged in the case on Feb. 6, 2014.
According to the charges, Rund made multiple threats to kill South St. Paul Police and an officer with the Minnesota State Patrol through his Twitter account after getting a speeding ticket on Feb. 4, 2014. He was arrested and booked into the Ramsey County Jail.
Rund will be sentenced in Dakota County Court on Jan. 20, 2016.
