South Minneapolis shooting that left man wounded under investigation

Man should survive shooting in south Minneapolis, police say

A man shot in south Minneapolis Thursday evening should survive, police say.

Reports of gunfire brought officers to the 1800 block of Nicollet Avenue just before 5:30 p.m., the Minneapolis Police Department said.

A man with survivable gunshot wounds later showed up at a nearby hospital.

Police are investigating what led to the shooting. No one has been arrested.
