Snow, Cold Creates Rough Morning Commute

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – As our rough winter continues, drivers throughout the Twin Cities are being put to the test both with their patience and safety as they hit the roads for the morning commute.

Overnight snow coupled with windy and cold conditions made for another slick start on the roads. Although there have been no reports of serious injury or fatal crashes so far on Wednesday, a couple of accidents scattered throughout the metro made for a slow commute for thousands on the roads. Many commutes were more than double their normal time.

As always, drivers are encouraged to slow down and avoid distractions.
