Snow Back In The Forecast For Minnesota

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) — Forecasts say some Minnesotans could wake up to a blanket of fall snow Saturday — the first accumulating snow of the season.

The National Weather Service says about 2 inches of snow could fall overnight Friday in northern Minnesota. Less than an inch is forecast for central and southern Minnesota.

Unseasonable cold temperatures and strong winds are expected to stick around for the weekend. Warmer and near normal temperatures are expected by mid-week.
