Single-Day Ridership On LTR Reaches All-Time High
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Single-day ridership on the METRO Green and Blue lines has reached an all-time high topping over 100,000.
On Thursday, Sept. 3 combined ridership totaled 100,909 rides. Almost 64,000 of those were on the Green line while roughly 37,000 were taken on the Blue line.
According to Metro Transit, event ridership has been very strong in 2015. Nearly a quarter of rides taken were fans traveling to Saints, Twins and Gopher games.
