Single-Car Crash In Wis. Leaves Juvenile Dead

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in western Wisconsin say a juvenile died Tuesday evening in a single-car crash on Highway 48.

The crash happened at 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Freedom Drive in the town of Trade Lake, the Burnett County Sheriff's Office said.

The juvenile, who was a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. His or her name will be released pending the notification of family.

The car's driver and another passenger were injured and hospitalized, the sheriff's office said.

The crash is under investigation.
