Man Arrested After Shooting Near Mystic Lake

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A driving dispute escalated into gunfire near Mystic Lake Casino on Friday afternoon.

Prior Lake Police said a driving dispute began at about 9:30 a.m. between a motorcyclist and a man driving a car. The motorcyclist pulled out a gun and fired several shots, a few of them striking the car, police said.

The driver of the car was not hurt.

Police located the motorcyclist about 45 minutes later in a swampy area by the golf course. He fled on foot and a perimeter was set up.

A State Patrol helicopter and SWAT officers were used in the search. They found the suspect -- 27-year-old Luke Campbell from Carver County -- at about 1:15 p.m.
