1 Dead, None Arrested After Overnight Shooting In North Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis are investigating after a man was fatally shot early Sunday morning on the city's north side.

The Minneapolis Police Department says officers responded to ShotSpotter activity shortly after midnight in the area of 31st and Colfax avenues.

In the street, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency crews brought the victim to North Memorial Medical Center, where he later died.

The victim's name has yet to be released. No arrests have been made.

Police say that investigators will be in the area of the shooting in the coming days to talk with people in the community.
