Police Release Sketch Of Rice Co. House Party Shooter

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Law enforcement officials have released a sketch of the suspect in Saturday's house party shooting in rural Rice County.

Authorities say hundreds of teenagers and young adults were at a party at a home in Webster Township when a fight broke out just before 3 a.m.

The Rice County Sheriff's Office released the names Thursday of the four people who were shot: 23-year-old Heather Nery of Rochester; 24-year-old Montez Brown of Minneapolis; 26-year-old Anthony Shannon of Robbinsdale; and 45-year-old Henry Brown of Brooklyn Park.

All are in stable condition. Nery was shot in the chest, and was airlifted to a local hospital. Montez Brown and Shannon were shot in their lower extremities, and Henry Brown was shot in his lower torso.

Police say more than 20 spent shell casings were found at the scene, and three cars that they know of sustained damage.

The suspect is described as a black man with medium to dark skin and a slender build. He stands between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the sheriff's office at 507-334-4391. A reward of $2,500 is being offered.
