Sheriff: Woman In Custody In Fridley House Fire

FRIDLEY, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 43-year-old woman is in custody after a disturbance led to a fire at a residence in Fridley early Sunday morning, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

Officers with the Fridley Police Department were called at about 4:55 a.m. to a disturbance on the 1000 block of North Circle. A short time after clearing the call, officers spotted a fire at the same location.

Police said the cause of the fire appears to be suspicious in nature and is currently under investigation. The residence was occupied at the time of the fire, and nobody was hurt.

Authorities said an adult female, identified as Jennifer Robyn Beck of Fridley, was taken into custody in connection with the fire and booked into the Anoka County Jail.

The incident is under investigation by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office with assistance from the Anoka County Fire Investigation Team and the Fridley Police and Fire Departments.
