Sheriff: Several Catalytic Converter Thefts Reported In Stearns County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in Stearns County are investigating what they say is a string of car part thefts at area dealership lots in recent weeks.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office said it has received several reports in recent weeks of catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles parked at dealership lots. Authorities said they have recovered some of the stolen converters and identified a suspect, but there have been no arrests.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify which vehicles had catalytic converters stolen from them. If your car is one of them or if you have information, call the Stearns County Sheriff's Office at (320) 251-4240.
