Sheriff: Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Barron Co. Hit-&-Run

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Barron County officials are searching for a vehicle after a 26-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday morning.

At 7:22 a.m., the Barron County Sheriff's deputies responded to the report of a pedestrian who appeared to have been struck by a motor vehicle on Highway 8 near 3 3/4th Street, which is near Upper Turtle Lake.

Upon arrival, the pedestrian, identified as Logan L. Paulson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An initial investigation determined that Paulson was walking along Highway 8 and was struck by a vehicle that left the scene sometime during the night.

The vehicle's description is very limited and is only described as white-colored.

More information will be released after accident investigation is complete.
