Sheriff: Missing Man Found Dead In Cass County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 22-year-old man who had been reported missing since Saturday was found dead on Tuesday, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities received a report of a body found at about 11:20 a.m. Tuesday in Turtle Lake Township in rural Walker, Minn. When they got to the scene, they identified the body as that of Leondre Adams, who had been reported missing since last weekend.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office said his death is still under investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner to determine Adams' cause of death. They're being assisted by the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
