Sheriff: Helicopter Spraying Insecticide Crashes, Pilot Able To Walk Away

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A helicopter pilot is in the hospital after crashing while spraying insecticide in Dakota County Thursday morning.

According to the county sheriff's office, the helicopter crashed in a crop field near 180th Street and Lillehei Avenue in Marshan Township.

The pilot was able to walk to the ambulance and was then taken to the hospital.
