Sheriff: Bovey Man Killed In Cass Co. Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 60-year-old man is dead after a broadside crash Wednesday morning in Cass County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on Highway 6. A Toyota Corolla, driven by 56-year-old Laura Figgins of Cohasset, spun out while traveling northbound on the highway.
The Corolla then crossed the centerline and was hit by a southbound Chevy Trailblazer, driven by 68-year-old James Johnson of Remer.
Figgins' passenger, Timothy Budrow of Bovey, was killed. Figgins was seriously injured.
Johnson was not hurt in the crash. The state patrol is investigating.
