Sheriff: Body Of Young Woman Recovered From Miss. River In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The body of a young woman was recovered from the Mississippi River Wednesday night in Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's office says the body was found by the county's water patrol near the 10th Avenue Bridge at about 7 p.m.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner is working to determine the woman's identity and cause of death.

It is not known if the body is that of missing University of Minnesota student Jennifer Houle.

Minneapolis Police say Houle was seen on surveillance video entering the river from the 10th Avenue Bridge on Friday morning.
