MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 73-year-old woman died Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle head-on crash in Andover and alcohol was detected on a driver at the scene, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities responded at about 1:05 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash in the area of County Road 7 near 149th Ave. NW in Andover. In the area of 149th Ave. NW, a 26-year-old St. Francis man driving a pick-up truck northbound on 7th Ave. crossed the center line and hit the van head-on.
