Sheriff: 89-Year-Old Found Dead In Water In Wabasha County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An 89-year-old man was found dead in the water in Wabasha County Monday evening.

The Wabasha County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to an unoccupied fishing boat driving in circles in Weaver Bottoms around 7:30 p.m.

Several agencies searched the water, finding the man dead near the boat.

The incident is being investigated.
