Shakopee Police Investigate After Gas Station Robbed At Knife Point

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Shakopee police are investigating a gas station armed robbery Friday morning.

According to police, at around 4:25 a.m. a cashier at a Super America was robbed at knife point. The suspect then took cash and fled on foot towards Bluff Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, average height and build, 20 to 30 years old, dark-colored beard and was wearing a red sweatshirt.

Police are asking for the public to help identify the suspect and advise anyone who may see him to not approach, because he is likely still armed and may be dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call 952-233-9400. Callers can remain anonymous and a $1,000 reward is possible for successful identification.

The investigation is active.
