Severe Storms Roll Into Southern Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- As the atmospheric furnace sent temperatures soaring above 90 degrees Friday, severe storms also started to pop in Minnesota.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson County until 8:15 p.m.

WCCO meteorologist Mike Augustyniak said that the warning includes the Mankato area, and the storms could bring with them the threat for high winds and hail.

Several counties in Wisconsin were under severe thunderstorm warnings Friday evening as well.
