Several Metro Post Offices Open Sunday For Holiday Shipping

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Christmas is less than two weeks away, which means you're running out of time to get those presents shipped.

The U.S. Post Office is opening several Twin Cities locations for the next two Sundays -- including this Sunday -- to help with the hustle of the holidays.

Here are the locations that will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.:

Minneapolis Main Post Office, 100 S. 1st St.
Elmwood Post Office, 5100 W 36th St., St. Louis Park
Bloomington Branch, 9641 Garfield Ave. S.
Richfield Branch, 825 W 65th St.
Coon Rapids Branch, 10250 Foley Blvd.
St. Paul Industrial Station, 1430 Concordia Ave.
Apple Valley Branch 7287 153rd St. W.
Anoka Post Office, 2168 7th Ave., Anoka
Burnsville Post Office, 13800 Nicollet Ave.
Airport Mail Center (10 a.m.- 6 p.m. every Sunday), 5001 Northwest Dr.

Last year, postal workers delivered 434 million packages over the holiday.
