Sen. Ted Cruz Bringing Campaign To Minnesota Next Week
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will embark next week on a weeklong campaign blitz of Minnesota and other states that will hold March 1 presidential race voting.
His presidential campaign announced Friday that the Republican will be in Minnesota on Thursday as he sets off on a fly-around of seven Super Tuesday states. He is focusing on building his organization in states beyond the first four in the nominating process.
Cruz is one of two White House hopefuls coming to the state next week. Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has a campaign speech and fundraiser in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
