Search Party Gathers For Missing Blaine Woman

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Friends and family gathered in Blaine Friday to search for a woman who's been missing since last week.

Lisa Marie, 54, was last seen leaving her home on Jan. 5. Police say she may be struggling with mental health issues and may be at risk.

This is the first public search organized by nonprofit group United Legacy. The group is using horses, people on foot, and drones. Volunteers said they called off the search about 4:30 p.m. Friday.

"So far we're concentrating our efforts toward Bunker Hills Regional Park here," United Legacy Search Manager Kelly Kiffmeyer said. "It's a large area and we want to make sure we're covering that area."

Anyone with information should contact police. If you would like to help, you can donate to a GoFundMe page set up to aid the search effort.
