Search Continues For 'Dangerous' Escaped Wis. Inmate

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are still searching for a 20-year-old inmate who escaped a Wisconsin correctional center 12 days ago.

Kaeden Timothy James Dumholt fled the Black River Correction Center in Black River Falls, Wis. on the night of Aug. 2. He is also suspected of an armed home invasion four days later, which led to a high-speed chase with Sawyer County deputies. The suspect fled on foot and was not found.

Investigators have received several tips on Dumholt's whereabouts, and have searched several residences with no luck.

Dumholt is described as a white man with brown hair and eyes. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing green pants and a gray T-shirt.

He may now have a buzz cut, and may show signs of facial injuries.

Authorities say he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department at 715-634-4858, 877-699-4112 or 911.
