SDSU Women Beat Gophers, Advance To WNIT Quarterfinals

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — The South Dakota State University women's basketball team will host Indiana on Sunday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.

The Jackrabbits downed Minnesota 70-62 on Thursday night to advance. Steph Paluch led SDSU with 17 points, six assists and five rebounds.

SDSU's home win streak is at 20 games. The Jackrabbits are coming into Sunday's game with 25-9 overall record. Indiana is 21-12.

SDSU says its ticket office will have extended hours this weekend in preparation for the game.
