Motorcyclist Injured In Crash With School Bus

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A motorcyclist was injured after a crash involving a school bus Friday morning.

At about 7 a.m. a school bus, passenger car and motorcycle were involved in a collision at the intersection of Central and Lowry Avenues in Northeast Minneapolis.

There were children on the bus at the time of the crash, but none of them were hurt.

The motorcyclist sustained a non-life-threatening leg injury, according to Minneapolis Police.

The students were transferred to another bus and continued on. The intersection was closed temporarily, but has since reopened.

As the crash involved a commercial vehicle the State Patrol conducted a reconstruction of the crash.
