Police: Sauk Rapids Papa John's Robbed At Gunpoint

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in Sauk Rapids are investigating a Tuesday morning armed robbery of a Papa John's pizza restaurant.

Investigators say they received the call at around 10:13 a.m. of the Papa John's on North Benton Drive.

A police report describes the thief was wearing a ski mask when he entered the store and displayed a gun, demanding money from the clerk. Police say he left the shop with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers from Benton County, the State Patrol and Sartell assisted in a search for the subject, but weren't able to find anything.
