4-Year-Old Minnesota Girl Donating Her Birthday Presents

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A young Minnesota girl decided to do things a little differently for her birthday this year.

"I gave toys to other people," said 4-year-old Sasha Greis.

Sasha decided she wanted other kids to have her presents this year. She collected toys at her birthday party and donated them to Wayside House, a woman's treatment center in St. Louis Park that helps families affected by chemical dependency.

Sasha's mom says she's proud of her daughter's decision.

"That's what it's all about. For me I'm trying to raise my kids to be good people," said Jacy Greis. "When they get it, that's the best feeling there is."

Sasha's toys will be given to kids living in Wayside's Family Treatment Center.
