Salvation Army Hosts 30th Annual Coats for Kids Drive

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Despite a warm fall so far temperatures will drop eventually, and coats and other winter gear will be soon be a must have.

But imagine not being able to afford these Minnesota essentials?

That's where the Salvation Army comes in.

They're looking for people to donate new and gently used children's coats and winter accessories.

They can be dropped off at any metro-area Cub Foods, Kowalski's Markets, or Salvation Army center now through October 18.

Monetary donations are also accepted at these locations. Donate $15 and help purchase a new coat for a kid in need.

For more information on where or how to donate, visit the Salvation Army online.
