MADISON, Wis. (AP) — House Speaker Paul Ryan is releasing a new campaign ad the morning after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump praised his primary opponent.

Trump thanked Ryan challenger Paul Nehlen in a tweet for defending Trump in the face of criticism over his dispute with Muslim parents of a decorated Army veteran killed in Iraq in 2004.
