Runners Throw Resolutions Out The Window After Brewery's 5K

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Beer lovers and foodies had the chance to lose their resolutions Saturday with a run throughout Minneapolis.

Day Block Brewing company hosted a 5k in light of everyone's New Year's resolutions. It wasn't until after the run that people lost them.

"This is a special run, just in honor of 2016," said Morgan Jappe, Co-Founder of the Minnesota Brewery Running series. "We figured everyone makes resolutions on the first, but most people would probably want to lose them on the second if it meant they could have beer and bacon and pizza."

People got a free beer after the run, along with a collector's pint glass from the Day Block Brewing Company.
