Run To Raise Awareness For Brain Tumors Saturday In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – On Saturday, WCCO's Kim Johnson will emcee the "BT5K Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk" at Lake Como in St. Paul.

The American Brain Tumor Association's race was brought to the Twin Cities by brain tumor survivor Stacy Zwerdling.

Runners can help raise money for research and care and raise awareness of brain tumors.

At the race grounds there's going to be a huge inflatable brain exhibit where you can journey through the brain.

It's free to go inside and learn more about the most complex organ in the body.

The "BT5K Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk" starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Lake Como in St. Paul.
