Rosemount Police Seek Suspect In Dry Cleaner Burglary

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Rosemount Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a man suspected of burglarizing a dry cleaning store earlier this week.

Police say the incident happened at about 8:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Total Care Dry Cleaners facility in Rosemount. Surveillance video from the store shows a man breaking into the store with a tool to manipulate the lock and gain entry, disassembling a computer with an attached cash register and leaving the store in a matter of minutes. Authorities said the suspect left the scene as a passenger in a red SUV with silver plastic trim on the bottom. Police are working to identify both the suspect and the driver.

Police say they are not aware of any similar incidents in the area. The burglary was reported the next day as the alarm system in the building was not working properly at the time.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or who might have information about the burglary is asked to call Rosemount Police at (651) 325-1985.
