Roof Collapses In Hudson House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Four people are safe after a house fire in Hudson, Wis. broke out overnight Friday.

According to fire officials, crews responded to a call shortly after midnight of a house fire on the corner of Oak Street and 3rd Street.

Upon arrival, crews saw the fire coming out of the first floor window. The flames quickly spread to the attic and the roof, causing the roof to collapse.

Due to this, crews were unable to enter the house.

There were four people in the house, all of whom were able to get out safely.

Officials said they don't believe anything suspicious was behind  the cause of the fire, but they have not commented on what the cause might be.

The fire is currently under investigation.
