The rock slide occurred on Wabasha Street South around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The road is closed from Plato Boulevard to Cesar Chavez Street.

The police department tweeted the road would be closed for the weekend, but Ramsey County's Public Works director said it will be closed until the job is done.

A geologist will help officials determine what caused the rocks to slide.

No one was injured in the rockslide, according to police. The sidewalk is partially destroyed.
