Local Music Tap: Rock The Garden's 2016 Lineup Announced

The lineup for Rock the Garden is out! Well, most of it at least.

On Tuesday, event organizers announced the summer music festival will feature The Flaming Lips, Chance The Rapper, Poliça, M. Ward, Hippo Campus, GRRRL PRTY and Plague Vendor.

That's not all, however! More bands are expected to be announced.

Tickets for the June 18 festival go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, April 6 at 10 a.m.

As previously reported, Rock The Garden won't be held at the Walker Arts Center this year due to renovations. The festival will be held at Boom Island in Northeast Minneapolis just for 2016.
