Rochester Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Deer In Olmsted Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Rochester motorcyclist was killed Friday night when he hit a deer on Highway 52 in Olmsted County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened at about 7:15 a.m.

The 40-year-old man was traveling southbound on Hwy 52 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when a deer crossed to road.

He was unable to avoid colliding with the animal, and was killed in the crash. His identity has not yet been released.

The state patrol is investigating.
