Rochester Man, 40, Killed After Motorcycle Hits Deer

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 40-year-old Rochester man died Friday after his motorcycle hit a deer on Highway 52 in Rochester, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 7:15 p.m. Friday on southbound Highway 52 in Olmsted County. When officers arrived, a motorcycle had been traveling on the highway when a deer crossed the roadway and the driver was unable to avoid it.

The State Patrol identified the driver Sunday as Timothy P. Myhre of Rochester.
