Friends, Family, Co-Workers Say Goodbye To WCCO Legend RJ Fritz

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The WCCO family said goodbye to a dear friend who always left us smiling.
Ralph Jon Fritz was remembered at a memorial service Wednesday morning at a church in Eden Prairie. Don Shelby and Mark Rosen were among the speakers eulogizing their friend.
RJ died last week after a two-year battle with stomach cancer. The longtime sportscaster shared stories with WCCO viewers for more than 40 years.
RJ is survived by his wife, Deb, and three children. He was 78 years old.
