$3,000 Reward Offered In Edina Burglaries

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities in Edina are offering a big paycheck for anyone with information on a recent string of burglaries.

The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering $3,000 for a tip leading to the arrest and charge of the criminal(s) responsible for three burglaries, an attempted burglary and vehicle theft that happened in the Lake Cornelia and South Cornelia on Sunday and Monday this week.

Police are reminding residents to stay safe, and make sure doors and cars are locked. More marked and unmarked squad cars will be patrolling that particular neighborhood, police said.

Anyone with information on the burglaries should call Edina Police at 952-826-1600.
