Residents Reserve Summer Spots For Picnicking In St. Paul Parks

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Some St. Paul residents were up early Monday to make sure they reserved their picnic spot for next summer.

It seems strange to have to plan so far ahead, but the parks are so popular this happens every year.

St. Paul's Parks Permit Office on North Hamline Avenue opens at 7 a.m. and lottery numbers will be given out between 7 and 7:30 a.m.

Only one reservation may be made per day by an individual, group or organization.
