Report: Vikings Will Not Cut Adrian Peterson

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- We could soon have an answer about Adrian Peterson's future. According to NFL.com, the Vikings will not be cutting him from the team.

Team officials reportedly informed the running back's agent Wednesday.

It comes after several reports claiming Peterson isn't happy with the Vikings and has been looking around at other teams -- like the Cardinals and the Cowboys.

However, Peterson is due close to $13 million this season, making him the highest paid running back in the league.

Peterson can ask the team to leave.

According to NFL.com report, the only way they could see that happening, would be a huge contract offer or some big draft picks for Minnesota.
