Report: Target Raising Minimum Wage To $10 An Hour

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Target is raising the minimum wage for its workers to $10 an hour, according to the Washington Post.

The pay increase follows a similar move by Walmart recently.

It reflects an improving labor market and more competition among retailers for lower wage hourly workers that gained steam in 2015.

That's when Walmart announced its plan to boost wages to $9 an hour, followed by an increase to $10 an hour this year.
