Report: Parents Who Live Outside US Are Happier

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new report being worked on shows parents are happier in other countries than they are in the U.S.

The report, from the Council on Contemporary Families, studied life satisfaction of people in 22 western countries.

The report comes out in September, but they gave a few notes ahead of that.

Parents were actually happier than non-parents in Norway, Hungary, Portugal, Finland, Sweden, and Spain.

In the U.S., people without kids were happier, and our country had the widest gap between parent happiness and non-parent happiness.
