Report: FBI Now Assisting In Case Of Missing Mounds View Man

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – New evidence has surfaced in the search for a missing Mounds View man.

Henry McCabe, 32, has been missing since Labor Day.

So far, there have been conflicting reports of where he was last seen — including a bar in Spring Lake Park where family say he went out with a friend.

On Wednesday, law enforcement agencies searched Rice Creek from New Brighton to Fridley.

They said a cell-phone ping was traced to New Brighton, but other pings the night McCabe disappeared placed him in Spring Lake Park and Fridley.

The Pioneer Press reports the FBI is now helping in the case.

Police tell the paper they're treating this as a missing person case and there's no indication of foul play.

Anyone with information about McCabe's disappearance should call police.
