Students Learning From Home After Fire At Red Wing High School

RED WING, Minn. (WCCO) -- Older students in Red Wing are learning from home Thursday after a small fire at the high school.

Fire officials say there was a fire in the cafeteria ceiling around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Crews quickly got the fire out, and there was only minor fire and smoke damage.

Grades 7-12 will shift to distance learning on Thursday, school officials said.

There's been no word on what caused the fire.
