2 Dead After Train Smashes Into Car In Red Lake County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two people are dead after a train smashed into a car in Red Lake County Wednesday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, it happened at around 10:45 a.m. north of the town of Plummer. Officers say it was on a private drive that the train collided with a car carrying two passengers, both of whom died. The victims were not identified.
The State Patrol is investigating the crash and says it will release more information soon.
