Salvation Army: Red Kettle Donations Down By $500K
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A well-known holiday fundraising campaign is off to a slow start.
The Salvation Army says kettles donations are running about a $500,000 behind from year's past.
This year's season is shorter, so the organization is asking for more bell ringers to help.
The Twin Cities Salvation Army is one of the largest providers of toys in the metro area, making the holiday brighter for 15,000 children. Click here for more information.
